Community Youth & Citizen Development Organisation Inc. is a Sydney-based nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting our diverse community through youth and citizen development. FIGHT POVERTY
Poverty affects countless individuals, especially in the greater Sydney region. It’s a pressing concern that impacts communities deeply. To address this challenge, we dedicate a considerable amount of our resources and efforts toward effective solutions, aiming to improve the lives of those facing hardship and create lasting change.

It's commendable that Community Youth and Citizen Development Inc. (CYCDO) has been dedicated to addressing the issue of hunger in the greater Sydney, NSW area since its founding in 2000. Hunger is a critical issue that affects countless individuals and families, and our organization's commitment to combating it is invaluable. By implementing these strategies and continuously striving for improvement, our organization can make an even greater impact in alleviating hunger and promoting community well-being in the greater Sydney area and NSW Australia wide

SUPPORT ASYLUM SEEKER, REFUGEES, HOMELESS
We are dedicated to supporting asylum seekers, refugees, and the homeless population in NSW. Providing basic needs such as food, transportation, and medicine can make a significant difference in their lives. Encourage individuals passionate about social justice and humanitarian causes to volunteer their time and skills. Volunteers can assist with various tasks such as organizing donation drives, and seminars, distributing supplies, and providing support services.
Advocate for policies and initiatives that support asylum seekers, refugees, and homeless people at the local, state, and national levels. Participate in advocacy campaigns, write letters to policymakers, and engage with the media to amplify our message.
Conduct regular needs assessments to identify gaps in services and tailor our support programs accordingly. Solicit feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders to ensure that our efforts are effectively meeting the needs of the community.
By implementing these strategies and leveraging the support of donors and volunteers, we can make a positive impact on the lives of asylum seekers, refugees, and the homeless population in NSW.
